The small things are actually what matters most.
As we enter December we enter a month of huge duality. Joy, light, laughter, anticipation, excitement, giving, receiving... but also pressure, overspending, loneliness. It's so easy to get stuck in what it looks like and forgetting that what's important is what it actually is.
Joy is not joy when it's paired with financial struggle and overspending. Excitement is not true excitement when it comes with a knot in the stomach. Giving is not enjoyable when it took more than what actually was available.
My invitation to you is to focus on the pockets of joy in the small things, the moments that actually counts. Whenever you find yourself wanting to go for what it looks like, bring yourself back to what actually is. In what is, is the joy. In the small moments, are the memories. This will calm your nervous system, soften your jaw, let your shoulders relax and make your breath flow easier.
If you want to work with me in expanding the pockets in your life, where the joy in the small things is one of them, I invite you to join me in The Unfolding Pockets: one year of expanding the pockets. The Pockets are truly life changing and I don't know what my life would be today if I hadn't started working with them consciously.
